The day has come! Magdalena Łazarkiewicz's latest film "Back Home (Powrót)" is now  screening in theaters across Poland.
What a thrill and honor it was for somewhat still-young-of-a-director as myself  to AD the true maestro of the film directing - Magdalena Łazarkiewicz. Magda's  films, which I watched as a teenager,  not understanding, back then, why they digged into my heart and soul so much (Ostatni Dzwonek or Miejsce Urodzenia, for example) had a great influence on choosing and pursuing a film path myself.  
Watching Magda's films on screen is a great joy and always unforgettable journey to some hidden dimensions of human nature. Assisting Her on a film set -  watching Her in the middle of the creation process is a real inspiring treat for all filmmakers.  Thank you cast and crew for the great work!  Special thanks to Dawidek (youngest member of the cast), who both  in the real life, as well as a character in this film, is like  a ray of sun making everything simply brighter and hopeful .   To see almost all of the cast and crew being present at the Warsaw premiere felt like Back Home indeed  :)  
Thank you Magda for being You - open to people, open to always-new possibilities and most importantly bringing kick-ass people together.
